My Spring Obsessions: An Early Spring Home Refresh

Posted by KP BY DESIGNS LLC Admin on

There’s something special about early spring, the in between season where everything starts to feel lighter, softer, and full of possibility. Lately, I’ve been drawn to simple decor pieces that can instantly brighten a space using color, texture, and a touch of playfulness.

One of the easiest ways to bring this palette into your space is through florals. Yellow tulips add a natural brightness that feels like sunshine indoors, while soft purple arrangements introduce a calming, almost dreamy tone. Whether placed on a coffee table, nightstand, or kitchen counter, flowers have a way of instantly lifting the energy of a room.

Glass elements are another favorite this season. Clear and cut glass pieces reflect natural light, helping spaces feel more open and refreshed. Styled on trays, shelves, or dining tables, they add just the right amount of detail while keeping everything feeling light and uncluttered.

I’ve also been loving small decorative accents that bring personality into a space. Bunny accents, whether in soft fabric textures or sleek ceramic finishes, bring a playful charm that nods to the season without feeling overly themed. In muted tones like lavender, white, or even gold, they act as statement pieces while still blending seamlessly into a modern aesthetic. Subtle, playful pieces, especially in soft textures or neutral finishes, can make a room feel styled without being overdone. Placing them in unexpected spots, like entryway tables or bathroom shelves, adds a thoughtful, seasonal touch.

This season is all about creating a space that feels fresh, inviting, and full of light. With just a few intentional touches, your home can reflect the quiet beauty of early spring: soft, bright, and full of life.
